      为阐明华南地区常见植物白粉病的病原, 本研究从白兰Michelia×alba、二乔玉兰Yulania×soulangeana等15种寄主植物上采集到16份白粉菌标本, 对病原菌分生孢子的形态进行了观察和测定, 并结合多基因序列测序和系统发育分析确定其分类地位。结果表明, 15种植物上白粉菌的分生孢子形态和大小具有较大差异, 分生孢子多呈长椭圆形或卵形, 其中苎麻白粉菌孢子最长, 为(45.14±5.14) μm, 蟛蜞菊白粉菌孢子最短, 为(28.31±2.97) μm;马瓟儿白粉菌孢子最宽, 为(25.42±2.75) μm, 朴白粉菌孢子最窄, 为(13.53±1.76) μm。基于ITS与LSU的系统发育分析明确了7个供试菌株的分类地位, 其中蝉豆白粉菌(BF4)、酢浆草白粉菌(BF6)、红花酢浆草白粉菌(BF7)、紫薇白粉菌(BF10)、白兰白粉菌(BF14)被归为白粉菌属Erysiphe, 分别为大豆白粉菌Erysiphe diffusa、豌豆白粉菌E.pisi、拉塞尔白粉菌E.russellii、澳洲白粉菌E.australiana和华丽白粉菌E.magnifica;马瓟儿白粉菌(BF8)和鳢肠白粉菌(BF13)被归类于叉丝单囊壳属Podosphaera, 分别为坎宁顿叉丝单囊壳Podosphaera cunningtonii和苍耳叉丝单囊壳P.xanthii。本研究为不同寄主植物上白粉菌的生物多样性及其系统发育研究提供了理论依据。

      To clarify the pathogens causing powdery mildew on common plants in South China, a total of 16 powdery mildew specimens were collected from 15 host plant species including Michelia×alba and Yulania×soulangeana in this study. Morphological observation and measurement of conidia of the causal pathogens were conducted, and their taxonomic status was determined by multi-gene sequencing combined with phylogenetic analysis. The results revealed obvious variations in the morphology and dimension of conidia among powdery mildew fungi isolated from the 15 plant hosts; most conidia were long elliptic or ovate. Conidia of the Boehmeria nivea powdery mildew pathogen had the maximum length of (45.14±5.14) μm, whereas those from Sphagneticola calendulacea powdery mildew were the shortest at (28.31±2.97) μm. Conidia of Zehneria japonica powdery mildew exhibited the widest width of (25.42±2.75) μm, and those of Celtis sinensis powdery mildew were the narrowest with (13.53±1.76) μm. Phylogenetic analyses based on ITS and LSU sequences resolved the taxonomic affiliations of seven tested fungal isolates. Among them, isolates BF4 (Pleurolobus gangeticus powdery mildew), BF6 (Oxalis corniculata powdery mildew), BF7 (Oxalis corymbosa powdery mildew), BF10 (Lagerstroemia indica powdery mildew) and BF14 (Michelia×alba powdery mildew) were assigned to the genus Erysiphe, identified as Erysiphe diffusa, E.pisi, E.russellii, E.australiana and E.magnifica, respectively. Isolates BF8 (Zehneria japonica powdery mildew) and BF13 (Eclipta prostrata powdery mildew) belonged to the genus Podosphaera, corresponding to Podosphaera cunningtonii and P.xanthii. This study provides theoretical references for further research on biodiversity and phylogeny of powdery mildew fungi associated with diverse host plants.
