      To identify efficient herbicide combinations for controlling Lolium multiflorum, the synergistic effects of bixlozone mixed with diflufenican, pyroxasulfone, and cyanazine were evaluated in laboratory pot experiments. The results showed that the GR50 of bixlozone, diflufenican, pyroxasulfone, and cyanazine were 25.80, 63.80, 2.00, and 291.75 g/hm2, and GR90 were 101.84, 1 065.95, 10.78, 1 007.19 g/hm2, respectively. When bixlozone and diflufenican were mixed in ratios of 1∶0.6, 1∶0.8, 1∶1, 1∶1.2, and 1∶1.4, the co-toxicity coefficient (CTC) values were 122.19, 133.69, 103.15, 144.74 and 179.43, respectively, demonstrating additive or synergistic effects, with the 1∶1.4 ratio providing the strongest synergistic effect on L.multiflorum. For pyroxasulfone and bixlozone mixtures at ratios of 1∶0.6, 1∶0.8, 1∶1, 1∶1.2, and 1∶1.4, the CTC values were 115.22, 156.62, 127.14, 157.41 and 183.64, indicating additive or synergistic effects, with the 1∶1.4 ratio being the most effective. The CTC values were 28.23, 25.67, 27.70, 27.63, and 35.58, when bixlozone and cyanazine were combined at ratios of 1∶1, 1∶1.5, 1∶2, 1∶3, and 1∶4, showing antagonistic effects. These results indicate that suitable ratios of bixlozone with diflufenican or pyroxasulfone produce synergistic effects and have promising applications for controlling L.multiflorum.
