| 本文记述了在我国云南省发现的一种为害玉米的新害虫——扁喙丽金龟Adoretus compressus形态特征及其在玉米上的发生为害情况。调查发现,扁喙丽金龟成虫白天隐藏在玉米叶腋处或心叶内或植株周边的土壤中,傍晚出来活动;先从玉米植株近地面叶片开始取食,逐渐上移;取食叶片时先从叶缘开始,被取食叶边缘呈缺刻状,被害叶片呈网状。分别描述了扁喙丽金龟雌雄成虫的形态特征,比较了可以区分扁喙丽金龟与其近缘种中喙丽金龟的雄性生殖器结构上的差异。研究表明扁喙丽金龟是我国新记录种。 |

| This paper describes morphological characteristics and current occurrence and damage of a newly recorded insect pest feeding on maize in China, Adoretus compressus (Weber, 1801), which was found in Yunnan province. The adults of A.compressus hid in the axils or whorls of maize plant, or in the soil around the maize plant during the day, and came out to feed on maize leaves in the evening. The adults began to feed from the leaves near the ground of maize plants, and gradually move upward. When the leaf was fed, it started from the edge of the leaf, and the injured leaf was carved and netted. The morphologic characteristics of male and female adult of A.compressus were described, respectively. The differences between the male genitalia of A.compressus and its sibling species, A.sinicus, which could be used for identification, were compared. A.compressus is a newly recorded insect species in China. |
