| Pitaya canker disease is one of the important diseases in pitaya production, which has become a serious threat to pitaya industry in China. At present, the basic research on pitaya canker disease and breeding for its disease resistance is weak in China. This review introduced the research progresses in pitaya canker disease in terms of disease symptoms, pathogenicity, epidemics and control measures, so as to provide a reference for the studies of pathogenic mechanism, disease prevention and control, and breeding of resistant varieties. |
