| Field experiments were conducted to screen post-emergence (POST) herbicides to control Veronica persica Poir., a malignant weed in winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) fields in Huang-Huai-Hai region. The control efficacy of herbicides applied at different growth stages of winter wheat was also compared. The results showed that the control efficacy of herbicides applied before the overwintering period of winter wheat was higher than that of herbicides applied during the green-returning period of winter wheat. For controlling V.persica, 10% tribenuron-methyl WP at 27.00 g/hm2, 56% MCPA-sodium SP at 1 260.00 g/hm2, 40% carfentrazone-ethyl WG at 36.00 g/hm2, 25% bromoxynil octanoate EC at 562.50 g/hm2, or 4% pyroxsulam OD at 16.90 g/hm2 could be applied POST at the 2-leaf stage, which showed a good herbicidal effect and a long-lasting herbicidal effect, with nearly 100% control efficacy 150 days after treatment. |
