Disease occurrence and resistance of 11 strawberry cultivars to anthracnose under natural conditions in Changping district, Beijing were investigated and evaluated. The results showed that leaf, petiole and stolon, the three parts of strawberry, had different degrees of resistance to anthracnose. Disease indexes of ‘Mojave’ and ‘Syria’ petioles were highest, while the stolon of the other varieties had highest values. Based on the resistance of petiole, German cultivar ‘Senga Sengana’ was immune,‘Sweet Charlie’, ‘Albion’ and ‘San Andreas’ were highly resistant, ‘Fugilia’ and ‘Portola’ were resistant, ‘Syria’ was highly susceptible, and the others were susceptibility. |
