      LED (light emitting diode)即发光二极管,是一种能够直接将电能转化为可见光的半导体器件,LED具有体积小、寿命长、耗能低、波长窄、波长类型丰富等优点。本文依据已有资料,概述了LED光源对昆虫行为学和生物学特性的影响。利用昆虫对LED光源不同颜色(波长)的行为反应,可以设计、制造新型诱捕器和害虫防治装置;并对广泛使用的LED光源可能存在的潜在环境污染(包括光污染和化学污染)进行了讨论。
英文摘要:
      LED (light emitting diode) is a kind of semiconductor device that can directly convert electric power into visible light and has many advantages, such as small size, long life, low energy consumption, narrow wavelength, and variety of wavelength, etc. This article reviewed the research advance of effects of LEDs illumination on insect behavior and biological characters. New pest trap and control devices could be designed and manufactured based on insect response to LED lighting. Potential environmental pollution (including light pollution and chemical pollution) in application of LEDs was also discussed in this article.
