| Green fluorescent protein (GFP) is an important reporter gene in life science research. Based on the discovery, structure and luminescent mechanism of GFP, applications of GFP in plant pathology, including subcellular localization of disease resistant genes, activity analysis of promoters, pathogen plant interaction and gene expression analysis, were reviewed. |
