| A fungal pathogen Zoophthora radicans of Plutella xylostella was found during a survey of the pathogens of Plutella xylostella in Guangdong of China in 2009.The fungus caused an epidemic disease in a population of P. xylostella in Nasturtium officinale fields in spring 2009, with infection rate reaching 30%. The disease symptoms were identified and the fungus from naturally infected adults was described. |
