The reason why Chilo suppressalis (Walker) and Tryporyza incertulas (Walker) has resurged and caused more damages to crops in the middle and downstream region of Yangtze River in recent years was discussed. A new pest-control conception or approach, Evidence-Based Control was recommended for control of the rice borers, with regard to issues in current integrated control of these pests. |
