| The studies on remediation of polluted soils by using plants that can absorb and transfer elements and chemicals, and accumulate, metabolize and stabilize pollutants were worthy of note. The mechanism of phytoremediation of soil contaminated by pesticides was discussed in the present paper. Moreover, it listed the typical plants that degrade the variety of organic contaminants, and discussed the current problems and the prospects of this approach. |
